This is an English language forum. If you want to talk in your native language, then the folk over at LFS Russia might be better suited at understanding you.

Quote from Andreas B :Bob Smith - You're the one who can answer if i need more beers or not love to see ya again

Well you didn't need any more beers last time. Looked so comfy sleeping on your momo though.

Quote from Andreas B :not just any two Swedes either pie ftw!!!

Would love to have two guys along for the ride but sadly that airport is a massive diversion for me, and I'd have to take the day off work to get there in time for your flight.

Anyone needing transport not too far from the A1/M1/M42/M5 route I'll be taking on the Friday evening is more than welcome to keep me company though.

Quote from franky500 :Did you lie and say you were Intelligent. Ambitious. Know-it-all. and that you would buy some new dolls by any chance?

Actually I didn't pick either of those options. I wouldn't mind some new dolls to play with though. C'mon Franky, share!

Damn safety standards. This is what I liked about cars from the classic era, driving around in thin tin cans that looked good and were nice and light, ready to collapse like a bag of tin foil at the slightest collision (or in the case of a Lada, simply without warning).

Yeah that's what I hear in my head from most of the posts I read.

Quote from JO53PHS :Saloon versions of a Hatchback are ALWAYS ugly. Always.

Funny, I've always much preferred the look of the saloon Focus to the hatch. Hate the MPV look read end.

I'm also disliking the lack of angle between the bonnet and the windscreen but I do appreciate that it's more aerodynamic this way.

Very little left up here now, surprisingly it's colder on the south coast than it is up here atm.

Yep, there was a whole in the dash that needed filling with something. So there you are, and industry first, an analogue frame rate meter. Very retro.

Quote from hotmail :why are you THAT pissed on me

I'm not. I was merely pointing out the large text wasn't helping your cause. Just because I have "moderator" text under my name doesn't mean I'm an ugly ogre. Well, I am ugly, but what I mean is that just because I say something negative doesn't mean I'm going to go hunting for you with a pitchfork. Sometimes I just feel like being blunt.

Large text doesn't help get your point across. It just makes you look like an idiot.

If there's an LFS meet in the UK, I'm there. What time of year are you thinking?

Getting bored now. We've all read and talked about this before. Have patience and if you're bored waiting, find something else to do in the meantime.

a) join date is a forum bug, Vic is aware
b) thread in wrong forum
c) licence begging is not allowed - if you have the cash, then find someone who does have a credit card and give them the cash so they can buy a licence for you

You are perhaps confused by the wording of the slider. Internally it sets a ride height offset, but it is labelled as "ride height reduction", as that is the purpose of being able to adjust the offset. So a higher offset gives a higher ride height, it sounds like you expect a higher reduction value to lower the car.

It could be worded more clearly but as Forbin suggests, it only takes seconds to see which way round the slider works.

The angle of the kingpin, measured in degrees. More important for the steered wheels, as it has a similar effect to caster.

Quote from David 09 :Replaced by travel suspension, please.

LFS already displays the motion range, you can see this alter as you change the ride height.

Currently only the wheels and tyres contribute to unsprung mass - brakes and suspension components do not. Whenever this gets added, it will no doubt affect the difference between front and rear unsprung masses.

Quote from bunder9999 :they've always been like that.

Just because it's never worked doesn't mean it's intentionally like that.

Although I remember ride height reduction used to work, so maybe that got disabled intentionally (as the numbers did not correspond with the only displayed value, the motion range).

Also, "this year" generally works for me. Whatever the date.
